It is close to Gare Montparnasse Train station and the biggest shop at this place is presumably the one known as C&A. We made it a stop for most of the things my wife and I bought at Gare Montparnasse. So we all went there and saw no barriers between what one could buy for children, adults, males, females, teens, twenties and oldies. These two in laws of mine had been in Paris on various occasions and had first hand knowledge of Central Paris so when I brought up the idea of doing some shopping they both advised my wife and I in unism that our best bet would be to have a look at Galeries Lafayette.

The three of us then went by train to Gare du Nord train station to welcome my second brother in law and we all eventually returned to Gare Montparnasse. Two of them (my wife's brothers) came from London but one of them came earlier and directly to ibis Paris Gare Montparnasse 15eme at Boulevard de Vaugirard the hotel where my wife and I lodged at the point in time. My In laws visited my wife and I in Paris.
